Led by a strong showing in the lightweights, the Bulldogs avenged a 52-18 loss to Southridge a season ago.

“They are coming along,” Pasco coach Jay Covington said. “They have a lot of heart and fight to them.”

Covington also singled out heavyweight Audie Pearson, who lost 2-1 to Luke Davidson.

“That’s his first varsity match out there tonight,” Covington said. “We were really pleased with what he did.”
