Kennewick police investigating shooting near Grocery Outlet

— Kennewick police are investigating a shooting after hearing reports of multiple gun shots being fired just after 10 p.m. Tuesday night near the Grocery Outlet parking lot at 1325 W. Fourth Ave.

Officers searched the area near of Fourth Avenue and Olympia Street extensively but were unable to locate any victims or evidence, according to police.

Then at 1 a.m. Wednesday, police were notified of a male gunshot victim at Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco. The male had been brought in by a personal vehicle for treatment of a gunshot wound to the lower body. He did not life threatening injuries and was treated and later released, police said.
