Franklin PUD asks for help for low-income families

By the Tri-City HeraldDecember 8, 2013

Franklin PUD is accepting donations to help low-income families pay their power bills through the Helping Hands program.

Customers can make a donation of any amount on their electric bill payments or drop off a donation at the Franklin PUD Pasco office.

Public Utility District employees also are conducting a "Win the Wagon" campaign to raise additional money for the program. Customers who donate $1 are entered into a drawing to win gift baskets or a wagon full of toys purchased by employees. The drawing will be Dec. 18.
