WSU Tri-Cities' 'Start Smart' to cover small business basics

The Washington State University Tri-Cities Business LINKS program will hold a workshop to cover the basics of starting a small business, beginning at 6 p.m. Monday.

The workshop will take place in TRIDEC's Betchel Room in the Tri-Cities Business and Visitor Center, 7130 W. Grandridge Blvd., Kennewick.

This three-hour session will walk participants through the basics of initial financing, getting proper licenses, marketing strategies and more.

The entry fee is $25 for up to two people.

Military veterans and those in active duty will receive a $10 discount.
