Deadline for Sunnyside toy drive set Monday

SUNNYSIDE -- The Sunnyside Police Explorers, a program chartered by the Boy Scouts of America, have partnered with the state Department of Social and Health Services for the 2013 Toy Drive for local foster children.

Donations of new or unused toys will be collected and dispersed by the Sunnyside Police Explorers in a "rolling jail cell."

Deadline to donate toys is 10 p.m. Monday. Drop off toys at the Sunnyside Police Department, 401 Homer St.; Sunnyside Community Center, 1521 S. First St.,; and Grandview Police Department, 201 W. Second St.
