Three-car collision in Walla Walla injures man

— A three-car collision Wednesday morning on Highway 12 in Walla Wall sent a 69-year-old man to the hospital.

John A. Nelson was injured when he drove his 1988 Subaru station wagon into a Chevy Blazer at a intersection on Clinton Street around 10 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol. The Blazer then collided with another car.

Nelson was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Walla Walla. His condition was not available.

No one else was injured in the crash, state patrol said. All three vehicles involved were totaled.
