Chiawana edges Richland in girls bowling

Brenda Vela rolled a 165-167 to help the Chiawana Riverhawks pick up a Mid-Columbia Conference girls bowling road victory on overall pin count over the Host Richland Bombers on Tuesday.

Chiawana won 1,789 to 1,703 at Atomic Lanes.

Savanna Jones shot 153 in the second game for Kenewick. Shelby Kessler scored a 151 for the Eagles.
