Benton City gift and antique store celebrates opening

December 3, 2013

— Two Benton City residents recently opened gift and antique store Quail Crossing at the Port of Benton’s development building in Benton City.

Elaine Coates and her daughter Vanessa, second- and third-generation Benton City residents, decided to open the shop, at 515 Ninth St., because they noticed a lack of local places offering gifts and home items.

The duo are making and selling unique and repurposed items as well as handmade jewelry, according to a news release. They offer gently used items, vintage house wares, antiques, wine racks and other items, repurposed furniture, garden décor and signs, handmade fine jewelry, candles, gifts and custom gift baskets.

Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
