Tri-Cities under wind advisory Sunday, Monday

— The Tri-Cities area may see gusts up to 39 miles per hour Sunday through Monday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for the Tri-Cities and Southeast Washington state, stating that some areas may see gusts up to 50 miles per hour.

From Monday through Saturday, Tri-Citians can expect colder than normal temperatures, according to the hazardous weather outlook. Low temperatures will be near the mid-teens later this week, with highs in the low to mid-20s.

It could rain Sunday night. There is a slight chance of rain or snow on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
