Familiar voice in film that is opening today

By the Tri-City HeraldNovember 26, 2013

When the Disney film Frozen opens today, Tri-City movie fans will hear a familiar voice portraying one of the zany characters Disney is noted for.

Richland High grad Santino Fontana, who is currently portraying Prince Charming in Cinderella on Broadway, voices the role of Prince Hans in Frozen.

The new Disney movie follows the adventures of two sisters from a magical kingdom.

Kristen Bell provides the voice for Princess Anna and Idina Menzel voices Princess Elsa. Hans is a handsome royal from a neighboring kingdom who comes to their kingdom of Arendelle for Elsa's coronation as queen, but it's Anna whom he connects with.

Fontana's parents are Ernie and Sharon Fontana of Richland.

Frozen premieres tonight in the Tri-Cities at Carmike and Fairchild cinemas.
