Police: Multiple suspects working together in Kennewick break-ins

Tri-City HeraldNovember 25, 2013

— Police say several suspects working together may be responsible for a rash of recent break-ins in the Kennewick area.

Police were called to six different locations for reports of burglaries over the weekend, Sgt. Ken Lattin said. There were nine businesses and houses broken into.

The suspects smashed windows and stole various things.

A pressure washer, power cords, a battery charger and other items were stolen Friday from a Port of Kennewick storage building on Clover Island.

There were three break-ins at houses Saturday and another attempted break-in where someone tried to pry open the window to a home, Lattin said. Another house was broken into Sunday, though nothing was taken.

Police are asking the public to call 911 if they see any suspicious people or vehicles in their neighborhoods. Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to call Crime Stoppers confidentially at 586-8477, 800-222-8477 or visit www.tricitiescrimestoppers.com.
