A head-on crash Friday morning involving a semi-truck and a 2004 Ford Mustang on Highway 12 sent a Kennewick man to the hospital.

Michael P. Roeder, 34, was treated and released from Kadlec Regional Medical Center.

Washington State Patrol said Roeder was driving too fast for conditions, crossed the centerline and hit a 1994 Kenworth semi-trailer driven by Florencio Santana, 40, of Paterson. Santana was not hurt.

The collision happened at 8:15 a.m. near Wallula Junction in Walla Walla County.
