Master Gardener registration planned in Oregon

UMATILLA -- Registration for the Oregon State University Extension Services' annual Master Gardener training program is under way in Umatilla County.

The program offers information and educational opportunities. Through managing demonstration gardens and attending tours, workshops and classes, participants gain a strong understanding of how to use research-based information to help people plan, grow and sustain healthy gardens.

Master Gardener training will begin in early February, and will run one day a week for eight sessions. Training fees are $115. A basic application is required to register:
