A Prosser woman with nine felony convictions is accused of having two rifles in her home.

Misty D. Searcy, 35, is prohibited from owning or possessing any guns because of her criminal history, which includes two second-degree burglary convictions, court documents said.

She pleaded innocent Wednesday in Benton County Superior Court to one count of first-degree unlawful possession of a gun. Her trial is scheduled Jan. 13.

According to court documents, Benton County sheriff's deputies were serving a search warrant on Searcy's home on Nov. 14 when they found the rifles in the bathroom and ammunition on a bed.

Searcy was detained during the search, documents said. She lives in the home with her husband and two children.

Her bail has been set at $25,000.
