Police believe Ford Expedition used in deadly hit and run

Sport utility vehicle police believe was involved in a hit and run that killed a 65-year-old Pasco woman last week.

— Pasco police have released the make and model of a sport utility vehicle involved in a hit and run that killed a 65-year-old woman last week.

A red, four-door 2003 Ford Expedition is what police suspect hit Juana Figueroa-Figueroa as she crossed the street at the intersection of 20th Avenue and Lewis Street.

Figueroa-Figueroa was pronounced dead at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland following the Saturday night collision. She had injuries to her head and abdominal areas.

The SUV was seen speeding away from the scene and driving over the blue bridge into Kennewick. Police said parts of the vehicle were left at the scene.
