Richland Desert Wind Toastmasters to hold speaking series

The Richland Desert Wind Toastmasters is holding a free Better Speaker series beginning Thursday.

The series of 10 speeches will run from 12:05 to 1 p.m. at the Richland Planning and Development Center, 840 Northgate Drive, Room 104, Richland.

Each week, a seasoned speaker will focus on a different topic including controlling fear, organizing a speech and impromptu speaking.

After the weekly topic, the group will hold its regular meeting that includes an additional speech.
