Pasco man stabbed in downtown Kennewick

A Pasco man was stabbed early Sunday morning in downtown Kennewick.

Kennewick police were called to the corner of Kennewick Avenue and Benton Street just after midnight after someone reported two men fighting, a release said.

Authorities at first could not find a victim but Phillip Gonzalez, 28, walked into Trios Medical Center about 20 minutes later with a non-life threatening stab wound to his abdomen.

Police have identified others involved in the assault and are investigating.
