Tri-City HeraldNovember 9, 2013

A Pasco man was injured early this morning when another vehicle struck his truck near the interchange for Highway 240 and Interstate 182.

Jose L. Salinas-Pizano, 30, was westbound on the highway while Richard G. Davey, 40, of Richland was driving eastbound, said a report from the Washington State Patrol.

Davey made an illegal U-turn, hitting Salinas-Pizano’s truck. Salinas-Pizano was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center and his status wasn’t immediately known. Davey’s vehicle was driven from the scene while Salinas-Pizano’s was towed. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
