Football: Lesser leads Liberty Christian to rout

November 7, 2013

Liberty Christian 60, St. John-Endicott 22: John Lesser scored six touchdowns and the Patriots wrapped up the regular season Thursday with an easy victory at Hanford High.

Lesser scored on a kickoff return, four rushing touchdowns and a fumble return.

Liberty Christian, which tied with Colton and Touchet for the league title, is the No. 3 seed to the first round of the state playoffs thanks to a number draw.

The Patriots will host the winner of Friday’s Cusick-Odessa Harrington game. Liberty Christian, the defending state champions, beat Cusick in the state semifinals last year.

St. John-Endicott 0 6 8 8 — 22
