Football: Mead too much for Hanford

Mead 30, Hanford 7: Ben Kelly returned an interception 42 yards for a touchdown to open the scoring in a non-advancing crossover game at Joe Albi Stadium on Thursday, but the Falcons couldn’t generate any offense eventually losing to the Class 4A Panthers.

Hanford completed just one pass for negative-8 yards, while Mead was 0-for-6 passing with three interceptions.
