CWAC football tiebreaker scenario

CWAC tiebreaker: If Othello, Prosser and West Valley tie for second place, they will play a modified Kansas City tiebreaker for the final two playoff spots

When, where: 2 p.m. Monday, East Valley High, Moxee

What: Each team will get two possessions starting at the 25. If they are still tied, they will alternate possessions starting at the 10 and will be required to go for two-point conversions after touchdowns.

Order: West Valley will face Othello in the opener and the winner will play Prosser. If Prosser wins, then the Mustangs and whoever they beat will be the District 5/6 No. 2 and 3 seeds to the state playoffs. If the West Valley-Othello winner beats Prosser, then Prosser will play the West Valley-Othello loser for the final state berth.

This week: Othello plays at Wapato; Prosser is at Selah; and West Valley hosts Ephrata.
