Franklin Co. deputies arrest woman after car chase, struggle

— A 24-year-old Moses Lake woman was arrested early Monday morning after leading Franklin County sheriff deputies on a pursuit in a stolen minivan.

Deputies tried to stop Antoinette M. Quintanilla on Highway 17 near Mesa around 2:30 a.m. when she fled, according to the sheriff’s office. The chase lasted five miles before Quintanilla pulled over.

Quintanilla struggled with deputies as they handcuffed her, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia after the arrest.

Quintanilla also had warrants out of Grant, Benton and Franklin counties, according to the sheriff’s office. The van was reported stolen out of Grant County.

Quintanilla was booked into the Franklin County jail following the incident.
