Election letter -- Kennewick: Britain

I am writing to endorse the re-election of Kennewick City Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem Don Britain. Don is easily accessible and will listen to concerns from his constituents.

Last year, he helped our neighborhood solve a controversial land-use issue that, if approved, would have disrupted and ruined our quiet residential neighborhood. He listened to our concerns, which are very important. This has not always been the practice in the city of Kennewick.

I see that Don has the endorsement of many important county and state leaders in our community as well as the local work force. With these endorsements, it is obvious that he has shown proven leadership during the four years he has been on the Kennewick City Council. Don has a history of promoting policies that are in the best interests of Kennewick residents, and allowing the city to grow in a responsible manner.

RICH HOAG, Kennewick
