Richland soccer edges Pasco 2-1

Hannah Lea scored the game-winning goal in the 49th minutes to lead Richland to a 2-1 girls soccer win over Pasco in a 4A Mid-Columbia Conference district loser-out game at Bomber Field on Thursday. Richland advance to play Chiawana in Pasco on Satruday at 3 p.m. for the district title.

Both teams will advance to regionals the following week.

Hayley Deen also scored for the Bombers, while Gracelyn Fine had three saves.

PROSSER 3, OTHELLO 0: Jasmine Lemos scored a hat trick, getting two assists from Jamie Fassler, as host Prosser elminated Othello in a CWAC district match.

The Mustangs advance to play at Ephrata at 1 p.m. Saturday in a semifinal.

Thursday’s victory was Prosser’s eighth shutout this season.

In the other CWAC district match, Jordyn Arlt scored two goals as host Ellensburg routed East Valley 6-0 in a loser-out contest.
