Police seek information on stolen potato scale

Truck used to steal a large potato scale from a Kennewick company


— Authorities are looking for the driver of a white pickup truck that was used to steal a scale from a Kennewick company.

The pickup pulled into Baker Produce at 212 W Railroad Ave. around 5:20 p.m. on Sunday and stole a large potato scale, police said. The four foot scale is heavy and is usually moved by a forklift or several people.

Police believe multiple suspects were involved in the theft.

Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in the case.
