Princess and Peter Kerr

Princess and Peter Kerr celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 22 with an open house at their home in Yakima.

Princess of Kennewick and Peter of Benton City were married May 4, 1963, at the First Congregational Church of Pasco. The couple have lived in Yakima for 50 years.

Peter worked for the Big Y for many years and retired from Quality Transportation (Easley Hauling), where he was dispatcher, truck mechanic and shop foreman.

Princess retired from Petrolane Gas Service (now Amerigas) and later from All American Propane.

They have two sons, Michael Kerr of Connell and Donald Kerr of Yakima. They have one grandson and two stepgrandchildren.
