Fast Focus: 'Who do you blame for the recent government shutdown?' Right or left?

October 27, 2013

President Obama said the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was not a new tax. Affordable Care Act determined by the Supreme Court to be a tax. Taxed Enough Already Party members want the ACA repealed.

House of Representatives voted all the money required to keep all government activities going except for funding the ACA for a year. Senate would not accept the House bill.

The ACA inauguration is a fiasco and its full implementation will be challenged before the Supreme Court by numerous nonprofit, for profit and religious institutions.

Would a one-year delay of the ACA not have been a good compromise to have avoided all the consternation the government shutdown caused?

President Obama and the "progressives" twisted enough arms and rules to have the ACA enacted into law. So maybe they should get the blame for initiating the political posturing that has and will go on until the ACA bombs and is forced on the public or until it becomes the "best thing since sliced bread."
