CBC women's soccer clinches playoff berth

The Columbia Basin College women’s soccer team locked up a playoff spot Wednesday, defeating Yakima Valley College 6-0 in a NWAACC East match in Yakima.

Yesenia Alvarado and Mykenzie Lilly each scored two goals to lead the Hawks (5-4-2 league, 7-4-2 overall), who will finish in at least third place in the East.

Sydney Elrick and Taylor Schutzenhofer scored the other two goals for the Hawks.
