Tri-City HeraldOctober 13, 2013

Four people were hurt Sunday evening in a wreck on Highway 124 in the Burbank area. The wreck happened about 5:15 p.m. at Monument Drive, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Troopers said Patricia Rodriguez-Toscano, 30, of Burbank, was headed east on the highway in a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder when she turned left in front of a van that was headed west.

The van struck a fence and the Pathfinder struck a third vehicle -- a pickup, the state patrol reported.

Rodriguez-Toscano and the driver of the van, Jose R. Moreno-Duran, 25, of Pasco, were taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco, where they were treated and later released.

Two passengers in the van, Glaris Billatoro, 25, of Pasco, and Pablo Moreno-Duran, 29, of Walla Walla, were taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. Information on their conditions wasn't available Sunday night.

The pickup's driver wasn't hurt.

Troopers said alcohol and drugs weren't involved.
