Margret and William Voss

Margret and William Voss of Finley celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary with close family members.

They met in 1953 in Yakima at a Naval Service party and married March 17, 1954, in Pasco. They moved from Burien to Kennewick in 1961.

Margret is a homemaker.

William served four years in the Navy as a weatherman and spent 21/2 years on the Kearsarge and served in the Korean War. He worked various jobs and retired from the Pasco Airport in 1998.

They have six children, Monte Voss of Kennewick; Billy (Mary-Ellen) Voss of Olympia; Debbie (Klondike) Coffey of Kennewick; Annie McMillan of Spokane; Tina White of Richland; and Rhonda Cain of Kennewick.

They have 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
