Kiona-Benton pulls out SCAC East win over Columbia-Burbank

By the Tri-City HeraldOctober 11, 2013

Cody Zyph caught six passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns, and Kiona-Benton overcame a strong performance by Columbia-Burbank quarterback Justin McBride to get a 31-22 SCAC East homecoming win Friday in Benton City.

“One of the biggest things was Tyler Bissell,” Ki-Be coach Charlie Hobbick said of his kicker, who hit four extra points and kicked a 27-yard field goal. “Nailing that last field goal to take the lead for good was big.”

McBride finished 22-for-43 for 235 yards and three touchdown passes for the Coyotes.
