Touchet 38, Colton 14: The Indians reeled off 22 consecutive points, including a 99-yard pass play from quarterback Elias Martinez to receiver Cesar Velasquez, to take control of a Southeast 1B home win over the Wildcats.

“In 8-man football, if you can get past the first wave, there’s nothing left to get past,” Touchet coach Gary Dorman said, racking his brain for a longer play from scrimmage. “I’ve been here coaching for 33 years. I’m pretty sure I can safely say no.”

Martinez passed for 130 yards and two touchdowns but ran for 104 yards and three more scores.
