Automated calls not connected to Tri-City regional chamber, officials say

October 11, 2013

The Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce has received reports about automated phone calls in the region phishing for residents' information in the regional chamber's name.

The automated voice message is asking individuals to call the regional chamber. The regional chamber does not use automated voice messaging, according to a release from the regional chamber.

"The regional chamber is not connected to these automated phone calls," Davin Diaz, the chamber's membership and communications director, told the Herald. If residents are concerned that the phone call is legitimate, the regional chamber can be reached at 509-736-0510.
