State official to discuss vit plant management

Project management of the Hanford vitrification plant construction will be discussed by Maia Bellon, director of the Washington State Department of Ecology, on Tuesday in Richland.

She will be joined at the meeting of the Eastern Washington Section of the American Nuclear Society by Dan McDonald, the tank waste disposal project manager for the Department of Ecology.

Her talk will be at 7 p.m. at the Shilo Inn, Richland. There is no cost, but those who would like to attend the dinner meeting an hour earlier will be charged $22 and should make reservations by calling 366-9632 by 4 p.m. today.
