The Harlem Globetrotters are coming back to the Toyota Center in Kennewick on Feb. 20, and Tri-City fans can help decide what new rule will be added to the game when they arrive.

The Fans Rule promotion was a huge hit with Globetrotter fans last year when it was first presented to the public, said Sheri Alderman, a Globetrotter spokeswoman.

Three new rules have been added to this year's ballot roster.

Those rules are: Hot Hand Jersey, which is when both teams can pass a jersey among each other and whichever player is wearing that jersey when he/she makes a basket scores double points.

The second new rule is called Make or Miss, which is when the quarter begins with just two players on the court. When one team scores, a teammate gets to enter the game. If they miss an attempted shot, that player must leave the court.

The third rule is Trick Shot Challenge, which is when each coach challenges the other to make a trick shot. Whichever team makes the shot earns five points, but if a team misses a shot, they lose five points.

Fans can vote for the new rule at www.harlemglobetrotters.com/rule.
