By the Herald staffOctober 9, 2013

Cruisers to Cure Kids Cancer is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday on the grounds at City Church, 4624 W. 10th Ave., Kennewick.

There will be a car show featuring about 400 vehicles from classics to muscle cars. A hot wing competition among several local restaurants begins at noon.

There also will be a drawing for a ride in a $750,000 Shelby Super Car. Tickets for the drawing are $5.

Admission to the event is free, but there is a $10 fee for anyone in the all-you-can-eat hot wings competition following the restaurant contest at 3 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will go to the uncompensated care fund for Kadlec Regional Medical Center's pediatric oncology center, which provides help to families and their children who are battling different forms of cancer.
