Flu shot clinics for veterans planned Thursday and Oct. 25

Tri-City HeraldOctober 9, 2013

The Walla Walla VA is offering two local flu shot clinics for veterans this month, including one Thursday in Pasco.

That clinic runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Pasco American Legion, 1029 W Sylvester St.

A drive-thru clinic, where veterans can receive a flu shot while in their cars, also is planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 25 in the parking lot of the Richland VA clinic at 825 Jadwin Ave.

The flu shots are free for veterans.

Veterans also can drop by the Richland clinic between 3 and 6 p.m. Tuesdays in October for a flu shot.

All VA medical centers, including the Walla Walla VA and its associate clinics, are open during the government shutdown, according to information from the Walla Walla VA.
