Habitat for Humanity arson fire

Bill Porath of Kennewick, a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, looks over fire damages to a home Tuesday at 726 S. Jean Place in Kennewick. Kennewick police are looking for three high school-age girls in connection with the suspected arson of the house under construction. The house was reported burning at 5:53 p.m. Monday, according to police. The house was being built by Habitat for Humanity for a family in need. Police found a witness in the neighborhood who reported seeing three girls run from the house shortly before the fire was reported.
