William Tanner, chairman of the board for HAPO Community Credit Union, announced Monday that HAPO will rename and dedicate its Richland building in honor of its president and chief executive officer.
The building at 601 Wil-liams Blvd. will be renamed the David M. Schulz Corporate Building. Schulz, a Tri-City native, has worked at HAPO for 40 years and has been president and CEO since 1995.
"He's passionate about HAPO as an organization, its service to its 120,000 members and he truly believes and cares about bettering our community and the lives of HAPO's employees," Tanner said.
A dedication ceremony is planned at the building at 11 a.m. today.
