Four local Dutch Bros. Coffee locations raised $17,414 for the Tri-Cities Cancer Center by donating all proceeds from Oct. 1. Three locations in Kennewick and one in Pasco took on the fundraiser to kick off National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“It was a huge success. It was by far our best year, and it’s evident that we live in a really great community, because everybody gets involved,” said Nate Frary, owner-operator of the three Kennewick locations, in a news release.

Pasco owner Brad Barnes added in the release that, “We were just humbled by the fact that everyone banded together. We‘re excited that we can donate to such a big cause that affects so many people.”

The cancer center foundation's director described Dutch Bros. as "an incredible community partner."

"They are going to make a lot of things happen for a lot of people. The staff and owners are enthusiastic, and Dutch Bros. is just a great member of our community here in the Tri-Cities," Elizabeth McLaughlin said in the news release.
