New positions

- Steve Hussey has been appointed commercial credit officer for Bank Reale in Pasco. He has 36 years of experience in banking and is a graduate of Southern Oregon University. Angela Julson also has been named credit analyst for the bank. She graduated from Kennewick High School and has a degree in accounting from Washington State University.

- Rich Ward, former area director of Kennewick-Richland Young Life, now will be working for the training department at the Young Life Headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colo., and doing training part time in Eastern Washington. His duties include overseeing emerging technologies and initiatives in training as well as developing training for international Young Life.


- New officers for the Kennewick Kiwanis for 2013-14 are: Glenn Reiboldt, president; Russ Burtner, president elect; Rick Corson, vice president; Russ Keefer, secretary; Penny Gardner, treasurer; Rene Norman, past president. New board members are: Maureen Bell, Harvey Faurholt, Kevin Gunn, Pat Johnstone-Jones, Art King, Cyndi Kittson, Gus Kittson and Cory Manley. Dave Dirksen received the Legion of Honor and Russ Keefer received the Hixson Award.
