Football: Chiawana routs Wenatchee 48-7

CHIAWANA 48, WENATCHEE 7: Clifton Lozano and Austin Urlacher were a lethal 1-2 punch for visiting Chiawana, which routed Big Nine Conference power Wenatchee at the Apple Bowl in a nonleague contest.

Both running backs scored three touchdowns each.

Lozano had 32 carries for 298 yards rushing and scoring runs of 3, 5 and 29 yards.

Urlacher added 191 yards rushing on 16 carries, with TD runs of 15, 80 and 20 yards.

In all, the Riverhawks compiled 550 yards of total offense against the Panthers.

Deion Singleton had four catches for 100 yards for Chiawana, which is now 5-0.
