Chiawana’s Shantelle Hill gets one of her 33 kills as the Riverhawks topped Kamiakin on Thursday to forge a second-place tie with the Braves in the Mid-Columbia Conference.

Shantelle Hill had 33 kills, including six in the fifth game as the Chiawana Riverhawks held off visiting Kamiakin 25-17, 25-21, 24-26, 24-26, 15-10 on Thursday for forge a tie for second place with the Braves in the Mid-Columbia Conference volleyball standings.

Delaney Hodgins had 56 assist on the night for the Riverhawks. Amanda Miller had a big game for Kamiakin with 19 kills and 21 digs.

Southridge 3, Walla Walla 0: Kimberly Brinkworth had 17 kills, seven digs and six blocks as the Suns picked up a Mid-Columbia Conference road victory.

Alyssa Palmer added eight kills and 11 digs for Southridge, which plays at Kamiakin on Tuesday.

Freshman Lexi Lacey added seven kills, all in the third set. Emma Gilmour’s 14 digs led Pasco.

Hanford 3, Kennewick 2: Caylee Olson had 17 kills and Kelly Wahl added 13 kills and eight blocks to lead the visiting Falcons to a wild MCC win over the Lions.

Olson sprained her ankle in the fifth set, but the Falcons were able to overcome the injury.

Morgan Wilder had 17 kills and five blocks for Kennewick, and Sarah Kohan was busy wiht 59 digs.

Ellensburg 3, Grandview 2: Fresh off her WIAA Class 2A Female Athlete of the Week award, Taylor Hall had another big night finishing with 18 kills, 15 digs, four blocks and two aces, but it wasn’t enough as the Greyhounds lost a CWAC road match.
