Pendleton — Authorities released the identities of the two adults and three children killed in a Pendleton house fire last month.
Autopsies showed all five died from smoke inhalation, said Police Chief Stuart Roberts.
The victims are Treasa Philpott, 46, Kristopher Morton, 29, Evan Williams, 5, Rowan Harvey, 2, and 5-month-old Annabelle Williams.
The mother of the three children, Kay Williams, 27, survived the fire by jumping from a window, Roberts said. Another resident, David Eickstaedt, 49, also was able to escape.
Williams and Eickstaedt recently were released from Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland, where they were treated for smoke inhalation and other injuries. Williams, her children and Eickstaedt lived at the house at 1220 S.E. Court Place, Roberts said. Philpott and Morton were guests.
Investigators have not determined what caused the fire, Roberts said. Water damage made it difficult for investigators to figure out what happened. The investigation is closed, he said.
