Election letter: Port of Pasco -- Ryckman

October 1, 2013

I have known Jean Ryckman since our high school days in Pasco. I have watched her become one of the great business and community leaders in Franklin County. Her love and dedication to a better community has been expressed time and time again by her involvement in numerous volunteer committees and boards. I have witnessed Jean in action on several occasions. She is often sought out during meetings and public events by people seeking her advice, wisdom and her involvement in various community activities.

Jean's love for this community and her professional achievements and abilities have been acknowledged by her placement in such leadership positions as manager of the Franklin County PUD, president of the Pasco School Board, president of the Pasco Port Commission, appointed to Downtown Pasco Development Authority Board, and recently appointed to the Washington State Commission of Judicial Conduct by Gov. Jay Inslee.

Citizens of Pasco and Franklin County, Jean Ryckman has been working for you for decades. You must keep her talent and dedication working for you in the future. Please, continue these great efforts she has provided on your behalf by supporting Jean and retaining her as your port commissioner.
