Pasco man and woman injured in early morning crash

— A man and woman from Pasco were injured early Monday morning during a car wreck on Highway 12.

Magali N. Cruz, 45, was driving a 2010 Mazda MZ3 three miles east of Pasco when she swerved to avoid debris and lost control of the car, according to the Washington State Patrol. The car went off the road around 5:30 a.m. and crashed.

Cruz and her passenger, Diego D. Cruz, 53, were taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. Their conditions were not immediately available.

No one else was injured in the wreck.
