Richland Community Center to hold Green Living Awards

Richland's ninth annual Green Living Awards ceremony is 7 p.m. Thursday at the Richland Community Center, 500 Amon Park Road.

Along with the awards, the event also will feature videos from the Earth Month Kids Contest, recycled art decor made by local artists and piano music from Scott Kovacs of Hanford High School, a news release said. Ethos Bakery is creating a dessert bar, the release said.

The awards ceremony will be recorded and later aired on Richland CityView cable channel 13 and the city's website, www.ci.richland.wa.us/cityview.

A few seats for the public still are open. To reserve a spot, call 942-7730.
