National Alpaca Farm Days is Sept. 28-29 at seven Mid-Columbia alpaca farms.


National Alpaca Farms Days will be celebrated from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 28-29 at seven Mid-Columbia alpaca farms.

There is no admission fee, and visitors will be able to meet the alpacas, talk to breeders and watch fiber arts demonstrations.

Participating farms are: Sandollar Alpacas, 2001 S. Washington St., Kennewick; Gentle Treasure Alpacas, 2109 S. Washington St., Kennewick; Yakima River Alpacas, 1515 Jones Road, Richland; Tres Aguas Alpacas, 57803 E. Badger Road, Benton City; Enchanted Acres Ranch, 42901 N. River Road, Benton City; Sage Bluff Alpacas, 8401 S. Steele Road, Prosser; and Silbury Hill Alpacas, 2301 Scoon Road, Sunnyside.
