Letter: Increase coverage of outdoor sports around Tri-Cities

September 26, 2013

I am trying to figure out why, with all the sport fishing and hunting we have around the Tri-Cities does the Herald's Life/Outdoor section have so many articles about Oregon?

We have beautiful country for hiking, sightseeing and birdwatching here in our back yard. Why can't we have more articles related to our area?

We have the best fishing around and a lot of people fishing for salmon, walleye, bass and more. Tournaments are held here. We don't read about those in the Outdoor section. I'm sure there are plenty of talented writers who could contribute something about our area. Does anyone else feel this way? Come on give us Outdoor news we are interested in.
