— Kennewick police set up an undercover sting to nab a 21-year-old man suspected of trying to sell stolen items.

A man saw an ad on Craigslist for his trumpet, which had been stolen from the Starbucks parking lot on West Clearwater Avenue, police said.

Police responded to the ad and set up a meeting in the Starbucks parking lot, police said. Alex D. Tanner showed up and allegedly tried to sell the trumpet to two undercover detectives.

Tanner was arrested and booked into the Benton County jail.
